Work visa to Estonia

After entering the Schengen Agreement, Estonia became extremely attractive for immigrant workers from Ukraine and other countries. In order to work here legally, foreign nationals need to obtain a work permit, which is a part of professional scope of the entire team of specialists at our agencies for employment in Europe. Estonian «D» type work visa, valid for 365 days from the date of receipt, enables to travel within all EU countries without any restrictions, enter and leave the Schengen area over and over again staying in its territory in total for no more than 90 days within 180 days period.

Work visa to Estonia for the different countries

• Having an invitation/permit for work: 300€ (services) + 100€ (consular fee).

  In case of document submission in Ukraine

  • Full payment upon visa receipt: 150€ – prepayment; 150€ – after getting passport with visa!
  • Booking of appointment for document submission at the Consulate without attendance of our representative – 150€ (only for Uzbekistan nationals).
    

• Without an invitation (with the provision of a job offer and secure employment!):

          400€ (services) + 100€ (consular fee).

• When submitting documents and obtaining a visa in the country of residence

• In case of document submission in Ukraine

          Full payment upon visa issue: 200€ – prepayment; 200€ - full payment upon visa issue!

for the nationals of: Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan / for the nationals with a temporary residence permit in Ukraine: Georgia, Kazakhstan.

• Place of document submission and visa receipt – one may choose from (for Uzbekistan nationals): Kazakhstan (Almaty) or Ukraine (Kyiv)*, for other nationals – in the country of residence.
• Guarantee of getting visa – 100%!

*If visa was not issued due to the company’s fault – repeated submission of documents or full refund!

• Invitation drawing up time: 15 business days
• Visa processing time: 7-10 days after document submission.
• Visa period of validity: up to 1 year (for the duration of an invitation).

The cost includes:

• A work permit for Estonia;

Required documents and information for an employer:

• International passport with visas (if any);
• Completed questionnaire for getting a job;
• CV;
• Educational certificate;
• The document with specified working conditions signed.

Documents required for booking an appointment (photo) and submission at the Consulate (originals):

• Photos of all pages / original of your international passport;
• Work permit;
• Residence registration document;
• Personal details: place of birth (state, city); marital status; first name, patronymic and last name of your father.
• Booking confirmations, health insurance card;
• Photo: 1 piece; (3,5 х 4,5), 80% of face against a white background;
• Bank card with a contact chip to pay a consular fee.

Procedure of securing work visa and contract for estonia

• Negotiations for the vacancy and conditions of work with an Applicant: completing a questionnaire and signing a contract;
• Submission of documents to get an invitation at the Police and Border Guard Board of Estonia. Processing period – 15 business days.
• Getting a work invitation;
• Submission of documents to get a work visa at the Embassy of Estonia in the country of residence (the nationals of Uzbekistan can submit documents in Kyiv without a temporary residence permit in Ukraine). Visa processing time – 5 -10 business days;
• Getting a work visa;
• Arrival in Estonia and conclusion of a work contract with an employer.

*An employer (before submitting the documents to get an invitation) charges an Applicant 500 Euro as a guarantee against non-appearance or transfer of an Applicant to other employers. The amount of guarantee is returned after Applicant’s arrival in Estonia and getting officially put on the staff.  

**Diligent workers are offered to get A-1 document and employment in Germany or Sweden with further raise in salary!

What is included into the cost. Completion time

The cost of securing visa for Estonia includes the following services::

• Consultation of leading migration expert working with EU countries;
• Preparation of official invitation letter from an employer;
• Completing visa application form;
• Issuing health insurance card;
• Compiling the set of documents to be submitted to visa application centre;
• Receiving and sending passport with visa to an Applicant to the specified address.

Period of validity of the permit is up to one year starting from the date of issue. Once visa expires, each applicant has a right to apply for its repeated issue in the territory of Ukraine or the in country of visa issue.

Processing period of a work visa permit is from 14 to 21 business days.

Please, note: the issue of a work visa for Estonia is possible exclusively for men being the nationals of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan (or from other CIS countries with a residence permit in Ukraine).

The procedure of getting a work permit is rather simple: the set of documents prepared well in advance needs to be submitted to the Consulate of Estonia in the country chosen personally by an applicant with the attendance of our company delegate. Once application has been processed, a passport with visa can be received either by an applicant in person or by an authorized delegate without the presence of an applicant. In this case the document is sent to the address of an applicant or delivered by hand.
