Why job seekers choose Serbia for employment

Serbia is one of the most practical destinations in Europe for foreign workers. The process is often faster than in many EU countries, while legal employment provides stability, a contract, and predictable conditions.

A well-prepared application (employer invitation + complete documents) increases approval chances and reduces delays.

      Key benefits

      • Official employment: contract, salary protection, clear terms
      • Employer responsibility: organized onboarding and compliance
      • Housing support: often included or assisted (depends on program)
      • Future options: possible path to temporary residence (TRP)
      • Good start in Europe: legal status + work experience

      Things to consider

      • Language: Serbian may require adaptation
      • Visa tied to employer: changing employer may require a new process
      • Serbia is not Schengen: separate visas are needed for EU/Schengen travel
