In order to settle in this country and provide yourself with the means to live, you need to have a job. How to get permission for it to a person who has moved from another state? Let's try to figure this out together.
Grounds for issuing permits
In order to legally receive your income, you should find an employer who will petition the authorities to issue you a work permit. In addition, there are many other nuances that you need to know in order to find a job in Poland without breaking the law.
If you are not a citizen of one of the EU countries, then you can be given a work permit only if you have:
- visas issued by the Republic of Poland;
- a permit to stay in the Schengen area, issued by another EU state;
- a document giving the right to reside in the country for a certain period;
- as a participant in a movement that involves the employment of people involved in it without having visas.
In some cases, foreigners may work without a permit. This applies to citizens of all EU member states and those who have the official right to settle in Poland. If you have a Pole's Card or a refugee status, there is also no need to take care of obtaining a special permit for employment. Those who are temporarily protected by the state, or those who study here, have the right to paid work on a general basis.
What documents need to be provided
It is a mistake to think that any foreigner can easily find a job in Poland, this is not entirely true. There are several options for this for citizens of other states:
- A - for those who work under an agreement with an organization operating within the borders of Poland;
- B - if a foreigner works for a limited liability company and stays in the country for more than 6 months;
- C - for representatives of foreign employers, workers in branches located in the country, for a period of more than one month;
- D - representatives of foreign companies that do not have their branches in the country, staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland on a business trip;
- E - foreigners who are employees of foreign companies and sent to Poland for a period of more than 3 months for purposes other than those indicated in the previous types.
To obtain the desired permit, you must provide the following documents:
- Copies of personal passports of the applicant and the employer, if he provides work as an individual.
- Official information from the State Court Register.
- Notarized copies of contracts and other documents confirming the activities of the employer.
- Evidence that the employer failed to find a Polish citizen of the appropriate qualification for a free vacancy.
- A copy of the document authorizing the activities of a foreign employer in the country.
- Evidence of your qualifications.
- Proof of payment.
